Business Office Skills

 

According to Alberta's Occupational Demand and Supply Outlook 2013-2023, clerical occupations and general office skills are among the occupations with a forecasted labour shortage of more than 1,000 workers by 2023.  The Business Office Skills program at Mayfair includes 300 hours of instruction and practice in the following subjects 

• Windows 10
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Sage 50 Accounting
• Keyboarding lessons
• Business letters
• Business filing
• Telephone/reception skills
• Resume, cover letter and interview preparation
• Employment search
